Recessive Varieties features:
- The gene may remain hidden
- The characteristic can jump one or more generations

- Must come from both parents

- Pure and splits can only be distinguished by further breeding as they look the same.
Therefore:

No bird can be split green , or to any other dominant factor
- Dominant birds can have recessive babies, but not vice-versa.
